Fish oil offers a wide range of benefits to many health ailments which have been clinically proven. Consumption of the oil derived from fish’s liver helps in getting rid of depression, tension, arthritis, weight loss and many more. Let’s talk about some proven health benefits of the oil.

The two components of fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) plays a valuable role in cancer treatment.

Ways to Cut Carbs

1. Lose the Juice- Fruit juice isn’t as healthy as people once thought. It lacks the fiber of whole fruit, and even 100% fruit juice is loaded with sugar and carbs. Cutting out fruit juice from your diet can eliminate a source of carbs you may not have even been watching out for.

2. Cut the Crust- While pizza is an undeniably delicious indulgence, most pizza crusts are high in refined white flour, which is a major carbohydrate offender. If you can’t resist eating pizza, opt for the thin crust variety rather than deep dish. You can still get your cheese and tomato sauce fix without ingesting as many carbohydrates.

3. Wrap It Up- Sacrificing sandwiches and burgers is one of the toughest things about going low carb. But if you “think outside the bun,” you can still enjoy many of the flavors you love, just low carb. The solution? Substitute lettuce wraps for the bun on your burger or the bread on your turkey sandwich. You’ll drastically lower the carb content and still have something to grip.

4. Substitute Your Spaghetti- A spiralizer is the kitchen invention you never knew you needed-and it’s shockingly affordable, with many going for under $30. This nifty gadget can transform squash, zucchini, and other low-carb veggies into spaghetti (or other shapes), making a great substitute for that carb-heavy pasta you miss eating.

5. Replace Your Rice- Rice, like pasta, is a carb-heavy starch that’s omnipresent in many cuisines. But you don’t have to give up on Chinese or Indian food entirely just because you’re counting carbs. Try subbing in riced cauliflower. It’s got a similar texture and absorbency, and when it’s loaded up with curry or broccoli beef, you’ll barely notice a difference.

Make Family Healthy and Lively

Make a Habit of Exercising

A few years back, I used to exercise alone upon my curiosity to be healthy, but, now, I workout with my daughter and husband. When we get back home from work, we find out little princess busy in doing homework. After relaxing for a few hours, I play music and we exercise together. Recently, I motivated my husband to join a gym together, too, but we skipped the idea as it isn’t a nice option for a seven-year-old kid. You can always go to a gym with your family if your kids are old enough.

If home exercising doesn’t work and it bores your kid, take him to a playground and let him play with different types of commercial playground equipment. However, do take foam padding for playgrounds with you in order to ensure safety for them.

Encourage Healthy Eating

Parents have a hold over what should be cooked at home. If you make a habit of eating healthy food since the beginning of your kid’s life, it will last throughout his life and he will lead an exemplary life. We can only do better when our health is good enough.

Cook healthy meals at home by using olive oil and veggies. Eat meat twice a week and avoid junk food. Kids love eating junks so you have to motivate them to eat healthily. Do not suppress their urge and allow them to have junk once in a week, but not more than that.

Cut Soda

Don’t be surprised when I tell you an average can of soda is equal to ten tablespoons of sugar that are equal to 150 calories. Consuming a bottle of soda regularly results in gaining five pounds in a year. Replace soda with healthy drinks and fruits as you can see how hazardous it is to your health. Such healthy habits can be induced in children when they are young. Once they grow up, it becomes a hell of a challenge to fight their unhealthy habits.

Spend Quality Time Together

Even though it seems difficult to spend time with your family with a jam-packed routine, doing so will do wonders for both you and your kids. Make evening time your family time and go to walk and explore nature. Set goal to discover something new every week and go to a new place in your town. Believe it or not, fresh air does to your health what nothing else can do so go outside and avail the natural blessings you have in life.

Be Social

Kids learn more by observing their elders and peers. Therefore, set good examples for them so that they live a healthy life. The human beings are social animals and being alone ruins their personality and health. Therefore, socialize and let your kids hang out, too.
